I have a painting of the Man Full of Trouble tavern and I am trying to get more information on it. I believe the artists last name is Smith, but I cannot get anymore information on it. Is there somewhere I can go or send a picture of it to find out more?

Thanks

In reply to <a href="https://www.lindaleegraham.com/man-full-of-trouble-tavern/#comment-125925">Dawn P. L'heureux</a>.

That's interesting, Dawn, but I don't have any information about an award. In the book referenced in the second footnote above, the author states "The members of the class whose reports were compiled by Cotter (1966b) and whose research is summarized here were Linda Keller, Charles I. Wilson, Richard Candee, Edwin Iwanicki, and Paul R. Huey. All become researchers, teachers, or archaeologists."

Perhaps Mr. Iwanicki's middle initial is 'M.' Good luck in your search!

My husband acquired a gold-plated (?) lozenge-shaped lapel pin which is engraved "The Man Full of Trouble/ 1967/ Award" on the face. The back has the initials E.M.I (?). We think it must have been awarded to someone participating in the 1966 archaeological dig at the site. Do you have any information about this award?
